Getting There
Traveling into the meet can be a bit confusing. This page is dedicated to answer common questions and give you a few tips on how to commute to the meetup location.
In addition to this page, we recommend you also use map applications such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, "Transit" app or the official "MBTA GO app".
Subway Guide
Why not start the FurRide before the meet even starts!
We suggest using either the "Transit" app or other map applications such as Google Maps or Apple Maps to plan your trip. It often gives you the most accurate suggestions taking into consideration things like live train status. Keep in mind that changing between subway lines is free as long as you don't leave the turnstiles. Make sure you have either a functioning CharlieCard/Ticket or a contactless payment method (physical debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). CharlieCards can be purchased at a ticket machine although keep in mind that not all stations (especially on the green line) will not have a ticket machine. For green line trains, you often have to validate or pay onboard.
Here are the common transfers you might take to arrive at the FurRide:
Origin Line - Transfer Station
Green Line - Park Street
Orange Line - Downtown Crossing
Blue Line - either get off at Gov't Center or State then transfer onto Green or Orange Line
Hi Massachusettes friends (and fellow New Englanders who are Amtracking in)! We've tried our best to plan our furmeets around the schedule of the commuter rail.
If you didn't know, MBTA Commuter Rail offers $10 Weekend passes! Unlimited travel for Saturday and Sunday! You can get these passes either by using the mTicket app, buying it at ticket windows, or on board. Find out more about the weekend passes on MBTA's website. As our meets typically last a little less than 2 hours, try to aim for return rides around 5 PM. Or hey, explore the Boston whilst you're already here!
First time riding the commuter rail? Visit MBTA's Beginner's guide to the Commuter Rail.
We recommend arriving in Boston at least 1 hour before the start of the FurRide.
Car Guide
Congratulations!! Parking in Boston is *free all-day Sunday!
The asterisk is important as it only applies to parking meters IN THE CITY OF BOSTON, CAMBRIDGE, MEDFORD, SOMERVILLE. This does not include parking structures or anything that is not city ran. Importantly, parking regulations are still enforced on Sundays such as no parking zones, limits, permit zones.
Because of this, parking is very limited in the city on Sundays so it is highly encouraged that you consider public transport instead (after all... this is a public transport meet!). The MBTA does offer park and ride parking lots. A list of parking lots is included bellow. The list is arranged depending on how far the lots are from the meetup location. Find out about how to commute from your parking lot to the meet in the "Arriving by Subway" drop-down. Read MBTA's rules and policies about parking.
Note: Parking structures not ran by the MBTA do exists, however, prices for them are extremely high! Look out for the prices before entering.
For the Red Line FurRide
The Boston Common has an underground parking garage with good rates. The rates are $10 for an Hour or less, $14 for 3 hours or less, and $18 for the whole day. You can enter this garage at 0 Charles St, Boston, MA 02116.
There is also parking at Alewife station if you would want to start/end your ride there.

Bus Guide
Ah the iconic white, yellow, blue buses of the MBTA...
Getting to our meet is a little hard via bus. We recommend getting off at one of the stops that also feature a subway line and then going from there. We suggest using either the "Transit" app or other map applications such as Google Maps or Apple Maps to plan your trip. It often gives you the most accurate suggestions taking into consideration things like live bus location and train status. The closest stations to our meets are...
Closest Subway Station - Bus Lines

Bike Guide
Ding-Ding, hey fellow bike commuter (Toast here :3)! Heres an insiders guide to biking on the "T".
You can indeed bring your bike onto the Blue Line on the weekend. However, especially for a FurRide, I do not reccomend doing so as space will be limited due to the amount of fursuiters we will have onboard. It may also be a bit cumbersome to carry a bike around the subway. Also keep in mind if you are commuting through different subway lines with a bike, some lines do not permit bikes onboard.
What I recommend is either parking a bike outside our meeting point, using a covered bike rack or using free Pedal & Park facility. To use a Pedal & Park facility, you must have a functioning CharlieCard (contactless does not work) and register that card on the MBTA's Pedal & Park registration website before arriving at the facility. Pedal & Park facilities are video monitored, door access restricted, and free with anyone who has a CharlieCard! Here are the stations that offer Pedal & Park facility in the order of how close they are to the meet up point.

Plane Guide
WOAH! REALLY??? You're flying in to attend our meet? We're flattered!!!
If you are arriving from Boston Logan International Airport, take the Massport Shuttle to the Airport Blue Line stop depending on which terminal you are arriving at:
Massport Shuttle Route - Terminals Serviced
Route 55 - All terminals (A,B,C,E)
Route 66 - All terminals (A,B,C,E)
Route 88 - All terminals (A,B,C,E) Runs all day! Note: pick up/drop off at inbound to terminals part.
Route 22 - Terminals A & B
Route 33 - Terminals C & E
Alternatively, it might be easier for you to take the Silver Line bus into the city. The Silver Line has direct connections with the Red Line. Silver Line buses stop at all terminals and is free to ride when leaving from Logan.
